Excitement is building for what is likely to be the very last 2023 Auto League prior to release of the 2024 season. Plenty of bragging rights at stake to see whom will emerge with that last 2023 SOM-MLB Championship trophy (not counting 2023 seasons that begin after 2024 season comes out). Early Vegas odds have not come out yet, but recent addition of the Yellowknife Eskimo Zombies has reportedly led to one anonymous prognosticator labeling them, "heavy favorites. Look at the track record of Squinbux, an All'-Star with two 2023 Championship trophies already."

However, another prognosticator overhearing the conversation interjected with, "a strong case can be made for those Old North Traders. Only four 2023 seasons played, but already have won a Championship. Some owners just got the right stuff to win, regardless of experience. Let's not forget, although Squinbux has been very impressive in 2023 play with 12 playoff appearances and 2 Championships, there were also 20 seasons that did not result in reaching the playoffs. I also like the hunger of owners SenorSmoke and fat-so. This will be the maiden voyage of each in 2023 SOM-MLB. Much respect has to especially be given to SenorSmoke as it will also be this owners first ever SOM league! The PaddyLane Pounders should not be discounted either, as they recently played a 2023 season. Think it was their first SOM season since... maybe 2005 or 2006? Regardless I've heard that owner is very hungry to win his first ever Championship. What we know so far, is this league is shaping up to be full of some final 2023 SOM-MLB thrills."
