RP Settings ?

PostTue Oct 30, 2012 6:25 pm

I have 2 scrub relievers that are useless to me, but fill the 24 player requirement. How can I minimize the damage and use them as little as possible? I know I can set them at 1 inning max, but I don't think you can check the don't use against L and R anymore on their individual cards.

Are there any other tricks to,use them as little as possible?

Thanks in advance.

Has the season started yet?

My suggestion to limit the damage would be 5L(5R) or greater set as LH(RH) specialist, avoid RH(LH) hitters, 8th inning or later, 1-2 IP max. There are about 7 or 8 minimum salary guys from both sides that fit the bill. Trouble is, HAL will use them much more often than you'd want when the game is on the line in extra innings or tie games, especially in non-DH leagues,

you look rather good. i would just drop one reliever and only carry your top 8 pitchers plus that extra bum you have to carry so you have 5 SP. add another bat. the best way to make sure they don't pitch is don't carry him.

or

you could drop your 2 lowest salaried RPers and get a LH specialist and a RH specialist. i would still only carry 9 pitchers though.

I can't drop a reliever because I must replace that player , and I don't have enough cash to replace a .5 reliever with say another .5 hitter....I have to do something more exotic, like drop my worst SP and do a roundabout transaction to get rid of one of those bums.
