but I rarely have two good nights in a row...and often after a good night the next night it's some of my best teams that do so awful...Now my good is better than my bad is bad, but still rarely two good nights in a row.

Not said exactly like Ron Washington. But I think I heard a paraphrase of what you just said uttered by Wash in 2012.

I am a little streakier than that. When I slump it is usally for 3 or 4 series. When I streak it is for multiple series.

13 of the first 15 teams I've checked have done the opposite of the night before. (win a series, lose a series)

13 of 15. Of course one night could just be an aberration.

But would I be off base in thinking you believe there is more to it than that? Are you thinking there is something in the code that works for or against a team based on previous 3 games?

I would be surprised if Strat went to that trouble. But at same time if they believed this was typical of a real life team would not be a stretch to see them adding code to the cdrom game to simulate ups and downs of a season. I can remember when we found out there was code to simulate media pressure affecting hitters going for HR records. Normal logic does not always apply.

Its funny...was just thinking this same thing the other day. I had a pretty good stretch where I was over .500 and under .500 collectively on alternating days for about a week.

Yeah Nev - I was thinking the same thing today, my teams are like the stock market - up one day and down the next.

I have 2 bad days then 2 good days then 2 bad days then 1 good day then 2 bad days then 1 good day. I'm losing ground all the time. :o

I see strange occurrences all the time for example:

Ted Williams 57 card with the 2-3 injury.

He gets hurt for 7 games, no surprise there.

The game he comes back he rolls the 2-3 again and is out a few more games.

The game he comes back from that he rolls the 2-3 on his first at bat but sustains no injury.

See lots of 3-4 mil pitchers going the whole year with a sub 3 era with crappy cards. (George Suggs)

Sometimes I believe that certain players or even teams are pre-ordained by the random number generator to do certain things regardless of what you do.

I couldn't agree more. I have felt this way a long time...
