Question about ATG draft

I recently decided to participate for the first time in an ATG game. The league has a salary cap of $140 Million which is a lot higher than I am used to. I was like a kid in a candy shop when filling out my draft card. So many great players were available. Seeing some names rekindled some memories.

Here's my question: Can more than one team have the same player on its roster, assuming the card is for a different year? For example, If I chose George Brett's 1980 card and am awarded him in the draft, can another player also have Brett on his roster with Brett's 1982 card?
