Outfield choices?

PostThu Apr 18, 2013 12:42 pm

I'm in a 200 million league. My ball park is Forbes 57. I recieved Hugh Duff7 94, Speaker 12, Cobb 11, and Heilman 21 in the draft.
First thought is Duffy lf, Speaker cf, Heilman rf
vs. Duffy lf, Cobb 11 cf, Heilman rf
vs. Duffy lf, Speaker cf, Cobb 09 rf
vs Duffy lf , Speaker cf Cobb 09/heilman platoon rf

oh yes no dh!
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Trade one of them to help another posistion. I would go with the Cobb rf card and probably trade Heilmann but that depends on the rest of your teams needs.

That is probably best idea. What makes it hard the new Heilman card isn't on diamond dope.

Forbes57? Heilmann is a slug compared to those three. I'd be all Duffy, Speaker, Cobb...........

I've got Sisler at 1b, actually I think I have a decent team for Forbes 57. I've got cochrane and bresnahan at c, alomar and frisch at 2b, Boggs and Mcgraw at 3b, Larkin ss..... so some duplication for possible trades.. lots of speed ( could field a line up of all A to AAA stealers if I want) mostly good fielders. No power, might keep heilman and play him in parks with short fences. Have a few of those in league, lots of parks that favor leftty homer hitters, Boggs had done well for me in those type of parks

It's a 200 league, so keep Heilmann for 4th outfielder and #1 pinch hitter.

That's what I'll do, and start him in the ball parks that favor him.

Thanks guys! :)
