How do you locate a commissioner to a perivate league?

There are a couple of private leagues I would like to play in. How do locate the commissioner to some of the private leagues?

Most likely the leagues are already accounted for, that's why their private. You could continually check the boards right here though as new spots in those leagues frequently open up.

In my private league we have Supreme Baseball Commissioner Wendy who rules with an iron fist and a stainless-steel skillet. She was found at the Consierge's Desk at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Vegas on one of Delivery Boy's vacations. Her talent was assessed and immediately voted in. Her only flaw was to let the Lazy Daisy Ranchers get in the finals.
You have to find one and vote him/her in... unless you want to have an animal or something.

I don't know how that helps in finding out how to get in a private league???

If you mean a private league that is LISTED in the League Directory (http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/league/list) go to the column "Created By" and read the member name. That is most probably the Commissioner, and you can private message them with the request.

Generally speaking private leagues here are full by the time they get to the formation of the league and listing on the league directory. I know that at other sites that is not the case. Best place to find private leagues to join is to be watching the boards here. Course it does not hurt to follow what artie's suggestion in case.

Further to what Mr. BBWorld noted, you can get lucky by messaging the manager and asking him to put you on a "wait list." I would say easily a third of the time, some "regular" drops out, and there IS an opening.
