Hey guys we just built a very successful theme league which is half over and we are getting the bug again!
We have 3 guys already for new theme league. A dedication to Roger Maris' horrible asterisk which was placed on his homerun record by commish Ford Frick back in 1961 (since been removed however after poor Roger was gone)
It is an $80 Million league DH Waivers and 5-10-20 drop
The only stipulations are as follows:
Hitters: must have an asterisk on their base stealing abilities. So catchers like Cochrane, Berra, Fisk etc.. are not eligible to play. Players like Willie Mays have some cards with asterisks and some with none. So you can play Mays but only his asterisks cards. All bench players must have the asterisk too.
Pitchers: must not have an asterisk!!! So all 5 day starters are eligible and 4 day starters are not!
The only exception to these rules is of course Roger Maris he has no base stealing asterisk but is eligible to draft.
The player set will be again very different and a player like Ivan Rodriguez will be very valuable since every player in the league has a chance to be held. I hope you will come join us if you dare although we are very competitive players so bring your "A" game.
