SOUTH END GROUNDS PICTURES

The South End Grounds was the home of the Boston National League club, usually called the Braves from 1871-1914. The Braves moved out of the South End Grounds after their game on August 11, 1914 to accommodate larger crowds during the "stretch drive" of the 1914 pennant race. The team continued to play at Fenway Park until Braves Field was completed during the 1915 season.

South End Grounds was shaped very similarly to the Polo Grounds.
