According to numerous sources, he was awarded the medal of freedom (not the Congressional Medal of Honor). Available info is that he either declined it or accepted it and then returned it. Regardless, it's not at the Hall of Fame, though his baseball card is said to be in the CIA's "eyes-only" museum.
