9 Man rotation wins 99

Playing in a Pre WWII...200M no dh league I went with a 8 man + Slim Jones rotation....did have 12 starters throughout the year...never really had that ace pitcher but the whole squad held up well in the regular season...don't think I will hold up that well in the play-offs

That's awesome, I like it when someone goes against the conventional wisdom and is successful.

How in hell did you get Duffy, Spoke, Delahanty, Wagner, Collins, AND Sisler in a pre-WW2 league? If you don't win it all I'll be surprised, unless somebody else has Ruth, Gehrig, Hornsby, Hack, Josh Gibson, and Beckwith.

I agree. If anything, I'm more impressed with your lineup and defense as I am with your nine starters (which I also agree is awesome)!
