Im currently in the playoffs semi-finals with my first live draft team. I went down 3 games to one but survived last night to make it 3-2. I came into the post-season tied for the 2nd best record in the league. If i lose tonight i'm out. I finished the season at 90-72, second place in my division.
If i lose it will have been a semi-meltdown because at about game 90 i was 15 games ahead of the competition (57-33) and on my way to take the division and win over 100 games. I ended up going 32-39 for the last 71 games.
Any one have a big lead by at least the half way mark and then not even get into the post-season?
Scott.

I blew a 5 game lead in the division with 15 to play. Didn't make the playoffs. If I had gone even just 7-8, the opposition would have had to do 12-3 just to tie for the division title. I went 3-12....
I should give credit where credit is due as well. The Point Pleasant Mothmen, at game 88 they were 44-44, being behind me by 21 games (I was 55-33) went on an incredible run. They went 48-26 afterward, finished at 92-70, which was two games ahead of me to win the division.
I was 39-21 after 60 games, 1 game away from best record in the league and a good lead in the division and wondering which game to play with my free credit or credits. Finished at 77-85.
I caught a guy in ATG I with a ridiculous final four days by both of us. I just tried to check exactly what went on but it wasn't there anymore. I ended up catching him after being down eight or nine games with twelve games to go. I finished about 10-2 and he went 2-10 with me sweeping on the last day to beat him out by a game. I only finished 85-77 so I would not have made the playoffs otherwise and I went on to win it all. Definitely a once in a lifetime sort of thing as I've never come close to anything like it since and he probably hasn't either.
