Jmo, but when ATG8 comes out, it should include a Shifting Sands option feature for building custom player pools. I think that could be a lot more popular than the currently lame Shuffle your deck feature.
For those that are not familiar with the Shifting Sands theme:
It was used as a theme league. Usually each owner in a league would place one restraint on
The use of the player pool. It could be a limitation of almost anything on offense, defense, pitching or even stadium use.
If you selected the option, there would be a filter screen where you would be able to choose from 1 to 12 sub-themes. Anymore would be overkill.
Examples- no hitter with more than 40hrs, or no pitchers with a Era less than 3.00, no stadium with ratings less than 7, or no players with a defense greater than 3, etc...note that these limitations can work the other way around as well. (Hrs greater than 40, ERA greater than 3.00, etc.)
