ATG 8 NEW FEATURES???!!??

Do people care significantly more about which cards are added verses not having any new features for the game itself?
i.e. better pitching controls etc...
if the answer is yes, thats fine too.

I think it's a case of "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" kind of thing.

Let's divert some attention to Cuban and Japanese players... smh

My big "WANT" is L/R lineups for all stadiums in your league. Considering you can play in stadiums from 0-0-0-0 to 20-20-20-20, this would be huge addition for me.

If they can add reverse line-ups, there is no reason this could not have been done a long time ago.

I am hoping, but not expecting. ATG8 will be a fail in my book without this feature added.

PS:Also, Charlie, try very hard not to report this thread. There are these things called eye-lids which shut upon command.

I'd rather have a better playing game.


I agree 100% with Salty on Charlie...Don't like it don't look, but Charlie can't help himself...poor guy really I feel for him.

the main feature i would like is a relief pitcher feature where your specialist can be set to only face one batter. lefty vs lefty etc. i know there would be a problem when your specialist comes in the game and then the opposing manager pinch hits from the opposite side.

Maybe someone can weigh in on this who knows-
I understand there are now a large number of pitching slot choices in the CD-Rom game?

Think that might be a start to seeing some new features.

To me those things we can get towards getting closer to how we would manage if we were actually playing strat one on one would be in the plus column.

I'd be happy with platoon options, better bullpen control, and no new cards.

Until I did a $999 live draft, I didn't see the need for multiple lineup options per opponent. I'd support that addition for those that play a lot of uncapped leagues.

I play mostly $60M, and if you need that many options, you probably had 15 nickel hitters and a lot of options
