anyway, I see your dropped him already,

but fwmoiw, I am not dropping a 4-man rotation starter who has a 3.79 ERA in a $100k league and a pretty good IP:H ratio in any league. especially an $8M one.

truth in advertising, I think I buy the Bill James idea (as I think I understand it) of W-L being overrated, although maybe he was focused on RPs

to me, ERA or WHIP are more indicative of the pitcher's effectiveness.

W/L is certainly more of a team stat. Appreciate the advice. Next time I ask something on here I will wait a bit longer lol. Gold start for Three Fingers 9 million card. Will see if it holds up.

Looking at his record would you keep Nomo or try to replace him. He seems to be doing a good job with ERA but cannot seem to get the W. Being a noob what am I missing that's causing him to lose at such a different pace than the other starters?

Thanks in advance!

Always good to look at the Miscellaneous stats.
1) Low run support is the main reason.
2) allowed a lot of steals due to his poor (+4) hold rating. don't know how big a factor this was.
3) roll distribution not a factor. close to 50/50.
4) Conversely Christy has good run support and favorable roll count (pitcher biased)
