And he is far outpacing the second place card, but people are still wasting a vote by voting for him anyway. He doesn't get an award for getting the most votes.

To wahoo and Andy Cummings

Yeah we do need another 10M Koufax card. Strat made ballpark homerun effectsthat are unrealistic, even in the parks that they were designed to replicate. Just look up Seaver's 1971 lefty right splits re homeruns including park effect splits in baseball reference. Then for hitters, look up Gehrig's two seasons that we have. There are so many further examples of cards whose ballpark effects don't reflect actual seasonal performance that they are a bad joke. Much like the bogus clutch hitting stuff that Strat uses.

Koufax's two current cards don't play well in parks with high ballpark #'s. His '64 card will. Koufax in real life, pitched superbly anywhere from 1963 until he retired. So we desperately need the '64 Koufax card, but only because Strat created a out of control monster with their poorly implemented ballpark homerun effects that grossly distort Koufax's actual performance in SOM.

Andy- you seem like the one issue voter who turns a blind eye to those with different needs. Not everyone lives or dies here by franchise leagues. As someone who plays both I appreciate the need for more franchise friendly choices but for the vast majority of owners, Koufax will be so worth it. The real issue is why SOM doesn't just upgrade to ATG 9 and stop teasing -and messing with -the customer base.

This is exactly why he is getting a ton of votes- including mine.

Which is also precisely why he was my nominee in this latest micro-addition to ATG!

You can't know the votes totals until after you have voted.

Yeah--
there is the aspect that no one knows the total--

BUT also, and I mean this is the part that drives me crazy--
we add 20 cards, but a bunch of people rightly want guys for a franchise league-- I dont blame em one bit--
but that means we have what, MAYBE 6-10 cards that can be used at all caps??

Does that really do much??? See, one of the things I think Mike was talking about is just simply lets add ALL 40 cards.
Even that isn't much-- remember originally it was supposed to be a bunch of new cards every month-
that would really keep it interesting for some.

Re-read what I said about Koufax, Bruce. I don't Have any problem with his card addition. I said he is already IN, far outpacing the second place card. My point was, for those who have yet to vote, why not use your votes more wisely at this stage of the voting.
My "one issue" is the same as everyone else who votes: getting the cards I want in.
