Which Babe do you play?

I am in a 200mil league, playing in Miller (4,4,11,11). Which Babe Ruth card would you play? Cash isn't an issue. In 24 team league.

If cash is not an issue as you say, I'd go with one of the bulletproof cards so he can play every day. If you want him in the OF, the $16.47 mil. 1923 card can't be beat. For 1b, the $15.10 mil. 1921 card should give you 14 fewer errors and might merit consideration.

People pretty much play the 16M card at capless live drafts. I do too, but I do question whether that is the best strategy. On paper, that is the card to go with and usually produces the best OPS ratings but that card doesn't generally generate the same productivity in terms of runs scored or batted in that the '21 or even the '20 cards do.

When money is an issue I always go with the '20 card. There is a reason why homerun hitters used to drive Cadillacs 60 years ago.

Is it because most home run hitters were of wide girth and needed the roominess?

Not the better ones, Mays and Aaron weighed in the 170's.

I haven't used the new most expensive card yet, but for me the 1920 is the most productive.

Thanks for the advice guys. I am going with the pricy Ruth. The card had done well in my prior leagues. (Actually all his cards had done well!)
