Barnstormers Champion gets to ...

PostThu Mar 17, 2016 4:59 pm

add 5 players to the ATG set?

IDK, it could be me, but I think this is a BAD idea.

I realize I may be alone here, but there have been some really flawed choices.
Now 1 manager gets to pick all of them?

SMFH...

Perhaps, but at least there will be 5 players that weren't before.

No, I just meant that it's 5 cards that we would not otherwise have. We'll still have the voting thing 3 or so times a year

If I win we'll be getting '95 Billy Ashley...

Probably not... I loved his potential but never could get the majors figured out. :(

Is there a chance that ALL members in the Barnstormers Finals get to choose at least 1 player in the ATG set? The winner gets 5.

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy....

Is Barnstormers based on the 20xx game? If so bad idea because you could get a winner that never or rarely plays ATG.
I think there should also be some limitations so someone does not choose a Gates Brown type fluke card.

Thanks for correcting me my friend.

So went back and read the guidelines and says 6 events. Plus the semis and finals. So assuming one were to make a run at the finals is that a total potential 8 credit commitment? Or am I missing something?

For the first time starting this year, SOM will award an EXTRA credit for all semi finalists or finalists. So still only a 6 event commitment. 5 really if you want to skip one of the events. And then it is assumed that if you play well enough along the way to make the semi's or direct to the finals, that you'll get playoff credits along the way, as in ANY league, thereby dropping the commitment down some more.
