Franchise League Question

Good evening everyone.

I'm getting tired of playing the regular 80/100 and was thinking of venturing into an ATG8 franchise league but I have a question regarding player selection.

Let's say that my franchise is the Mets or has a Mets component, can I select Rickey Henderson since he played for the Mets or does the card need to match the team? If it has to match the team, then can he be selected to play on a Yankee franchise but only use the '85 card?

I guess each league could have a separate rule.

Yep, each league has separate rules. Some let you draft anyone who ever played for the franchise, some only certain players who played there for parity, some highest salary card to that carded team, etc. You just have to read league rules and draft accordingly.
