Help, Please explain how to use Babe Adams as Super Reliever

Im thinking the best way to get relief here is through Babe super user. What settings do i use to accomplish having him pitch as much as possible?

Also, if you see a better use of the presidents, please make a suggestion, not really sure about this team. Only requirement is the last name must match a past US president.

I am just a novice, but I would guess doing a number or all of these things would help use Babe as often as possible:

1. Use Walter as #1 and Randy as #3 - with the weaker starters as #2 and #4- on the thinking that your pen will more likely be used on days your weaker starters go.

2. Set Babe Do Not Relieve b4 FO.

3. Set Babe to Slow Hook

4. Set Babe to several of the bullpen roles - closer, setup, middle man, behind & late, tied & late, tied and 9th +

5. Maybe set relief usage to conservative - not wanting your under 1M relievers to be used much.

6. Maybe set Randy and Walter to Do Not Relieve b4 F (some low number).

7. Set all other relievers to quick hook, max rel inn 1-2, and avoid the weaker side.

Not sure about availability or working with your salary restrictions but possibly Gary Carter at C and John Kennedy for defense at 3B.

DO NOT set anybody you want to use as a super reliever as a closer. In fact, if you want to use a super reliever, do not set anyone as your closer. And set all the rest of your pen as "mopup" or RH/LH specialists with quick hook.

I agree with both budabear and rburgh. I used Babe several times back in the day and got 44 and 36 wins as a super reliever. But the game has changed and my team was much different as I dont believe any of my starters cost more than 2.5. I also got 374 innings from Babe and with your team I would think you might get a little over 200 innings. I have recently considered what rburgh says about not putting closer as maximizing which could freeze him more in that role.
