Advice, thoughts on why this team failed ...

This team of mine gave up 100 more homeruns than they hit and still we won the championship in an unlimited salary cap league:

Notice my saves and blown saves are almost identical to your team's, sometimes it is just luck, or bad luck.

Nice team! What I noticed about your team is if you add the triples & HR's on your team, you exceed the amount of HR's given up, Now a triple is not the same as a HR but you're about breaking even assuming some of those triples ended up scoring. In a small ball environment, those triples mitigate the power you are giving up, though in high cap leagues it seems anything can happen

I don't think it's worth analyzing too much, because:

It's a HUGE salary cap.

Everyone is going to have a great roster.

Someone is going to lose.

That someone was you this time.

(not trying to be a jerk--I just think huge caps invite hubris--you can get almost anyone you want--so can everyone else).
