117 mil cap for 2017. DH pool with players only 1997-2017
This league has a tight supply and demand setup and includes some great players, including a bunch of fun cards that were just added that you haven't used! Too many to name that I haven't used!
Includes Ken Griffey, Frank Thomas, J. Bagwell, BUT not the '94 season as that one's pretty twisted. So measly 10.18 31 homer Bagwell and 2 great Thomas and Griffey cards each. No Pedro '94 (why would you?) but fair game on a lot of greats and their splits....Pedro, A-Rod, Bonds ('92 is good) Piazza, Guerrero, Kershaw etc.
So, who's gonna test out some of these swweeet 7 mil MVPs of our day and see how the league ERA will fare between some power packed cards that likely wouldn't cut it in UNLIMITED 80+ mil etc.
The kicker is, there's not enough cheapo players or really enough for 12 teams BUT there is! That's why I extended it to the '97 season as it was '99. That gets in J. Kendall, S. Alomar Jr., C. Johsnon which allows the hardest position, C to be possible with 12 total guys for teams to get. Also shores up OF with reasonable adds like P. O'neil, C. Everett etc. The '97 add made me think about "best" HOF players of the "Modern" time----Griffey, Thomas, Piazza, Pedro, Bagwell, Biggio---this allows them in. Just no '94 cards but you can use these "HOF" guys best card. (Biggio, Larkin, Griffey, Clemens, Brown) this shouldn't be too many, but also, figured the flood gates were open with Larry Walker getting his super '97 card.
WILEY VETS: Each team must have between 5-6 "veterans" from 1988-1996 that cost between $4 and $8 million.-----no hitter may be more than $2 mil and they'll be taken out of the pool by strato when i request it. This is just to fill rosters with maybe some tools, maybe a 4th Starter that costs under $6 mil.
Modern 1997-2017 $117 mil DH -- 5% drops ---
