does that mean once the season starts, you can pick up any player from the FA pool, regardless if they have a card for your franchises, or does this mean you can only FA players who have a card for your franchise?


I'd say this negates that. "By opening night the only players that can be on your roster are the ones that have a card for your one of your franchises, and players you traded for. "


So, just players from your franchise plus anybody you pick up in your ONE TRADE

I will go ahead and make a Yankee team, but this doesn't seem to be gaining ground....and the commish/gamian hasn't showed up still

I'm not a 100% certain, but I may have seen this played out on the League Directory, meaning you just entered your team rather than signing up here and away it went.

Another clue is that he instructed everyone to label their team with the two franchises they select - so again, I think this league formed by gamiam is off and running already.

I wouldn't mind getting in with another league as long as we have more restrictions on the trading aspect. If it's a franchise league, then players ought to stay within their franchise, IMHO.

If I'm wrong about my assumptions above....apologies.

how about we play this with no trades. with only 6 teams, the whole "1 trade" rule is kind of silly anyway. I'm ok with it if that's what we want to do, but maybe we could limit it to you get 1 trade and it can't be more than 2 players going each way. also we should set up the league as private with a password.

I could start a new thread if we need to....call it NEW POWER FRANCHISE LEAGUE and get it going. looks like we'd have 3-4 teams (out of 6) already. just let me know

Sounds good to me, but I still like the no-trade rule if the guy didn't play for the franchise he's eventually traded to.

guys I'm going to post a new thread as I think by the way the initial post is worded, Gamian just had people jump in and that league has already begun.
