Any Dead-Ballers Out There?

PostTue Jan 09, 2018 1:51 pm

Have you participated in a league using only DB-era cards? How’d you like it?

We’re still trying to fill the Progressive Keeper League on this board. We’re close, but it’s taking a very long time.
The first season will use DB-era cards only. I’m wondering if that’s perceived as a negative by most.

For my part, I’ve never participated in a league using the PRE-WWII set only, let alone DB only, so I’m thinking it’ll be a new challenge, and an educational opportunity, too.

I have a feeling this might be why this league is having so much trouble filling out.

It is just the first part of a four season league, and I think it would be a challenge at first, but as it continues throughout the rest of the seasons, it would get more interesting and challenging.

Anyone, with any other thoughts, on this?

What is the league called? I love the deadball era.

Lanier64, it called “Progressive Keeper League”.

It’s listed a little lower on this forum.

9 of us are in so far; maybe you’ll be #10!
