new league from dadof5

1 team left

Description: TRUE CARDED FRANCHISE LEAGUE (BUT IF YOU DON'T DRAFT THEM YOU COULD LOSE THEM) A little twist on the new league Luker started... CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1)Astros/Rangers/D-Backs/Rockies/Mets

They have to have a card for your franchise!!! Ruths Yankee cards cannot be used by Red Sox...Big Mac's St. Louis cannot be used by the A's - Same with Bonds etc... Also for a nice twist... EACH TEAM GETS ONE - OVERRIDE - OR FA form another franchise. Example - The Cards miss drafting Musial - as FA draft a team can grab him... or a team can "UPGRADE" a player you have the rights to- Example Bonds... Pittsburgh can use SF card... Or the Big Mac and RUth example above - PLEASE NO DUPLICATE FRANCHISES! Use the franchises in your team name. ONE TIME USAGE OF THE OVERRIDE OR FA - from another franchise. Please folks, we are all adults here. READ all the rules that may be an issue to each of us. I won't be policing the league, so POLICE YOURSELVES. If there is an issue between anyone, I will make a final determination that will be binding for the duration of the league. The override should stop those that sandbag at the initial draft. FA drafting you may have to protect one or more of your players so grab draft them initially or risk losing them forever. A released player can become a free agent to any manager that still has his SINGLE override or FA from another team open. You cannot change the override player or FA player you chose. it is ONE TIME THING! Please once again, this is fun, no spats, arguments, or duplicates... One last thing... You may trade any legal player you want to another team. The Franchise the player was traded FROM is the franchise you MUST use. SO you cant trade with the Red Sox for Ruth... and use the Yankee card. EVEN if you still have your override...
