LEAGUE: Alphabet League (UPDATED)
Player Set: ATG 8
Skill Level: Advanced
Draft type: Auto List Draft
Salary Cap: $200,000,000
FA Drop Penalty: 5%
Managers may own multiple teams: no
DH Rule: yes
Waivers: yes
Postseason Format: 2 rounds: Best-of-7, Best-of-7
Opening Day: TBD
Description: The only rule to this League is that at the time of the first pitch and throughout the season, 23 players on your roster must have last names starting with a different letter. Because the "Q" "I" & "X" groups do not have enough players for all teams to have a "Q" "I" or "X" player, two of your player's last names can start with any letter (you can end up with Mantle, Morgan & Mays, or Bonds & Boone and Young & Yount, etc.} "At the time of the first pitch" is the key. Prior to that, you can draft, waiver, or trade for any combination of players. Just please be compliant when the season starts and throughout. Clarification: Players with two name last names should use the first name of the last name to determine which group he is in (Andy Van Slyke is a"V"}. What strategy will you use?
