Your Best Seasons from Hitters under $750k?

PostSun Feb 16, 2020 12:34 am

I just wrapped a regular season in which 0.72 Dutch Holland ripped 40 doubles in 285 at-bats. I often use Holland, but I don’t think he’s ever hit like that for me.

It made me wonder if anyone else had fun examples of great seasons by platoon players under $750k?

(Pardon the absurd preponderance of known strat bargains on this roster — sometimes, I think I need repricing to save me from myself.) :D

I'm sure there's a Hod Ford, or a Alan Wiggins out there. I know I have had both of them perform well for me, just too lazy to go back through my teams to find 'em. Right now, there's Altman and Holland here

Yeah true--Hod Ford in 118 ABs... .331 / .412 / .492
...and same team also had Tamargo in 301 ABs....336 / .395 /.548

little more than .75, but Tamargo again...
in 100 ABs, had 36 RBIs and a line of .431 / .479 /.647

Al Zarilla: .287 .374 .468

Not a lot of at bats but Jose Cardenal did hit .375

But to be honest I like this better at 100 million and a full time platoon with over 200 at bats and only 70K over minimum .290 BA

Or this one with .310 Avg .386 OBP in 100 million league

or .325 Avg with .375 OBP in lefty park

Although my all time favorite was Alex Johnson with a 1.243 OPS in the Barnstormers Final
