Thank you for sharing Chompsky. I think some people get information from an email communication with SOM and don’t share it. Makes you wonder why the available blog isn’t used to convey information to all. But what does “reliever duration of 6” mean? They can only pitch to 6 batters? Only get 6 outs? Once they get 6 outs/face 6 they are fatigued? Once they get 6 outs/face 6 if they then give up 4 hits/walks they are fatigued?

Then there is the new 3 batters or end of inning rule.
We will see how 2020 Daily Baseball handles it.

Yw. Later when I am near a proper keyboard I'll send more. I'll cut and paste from their email to me.

The second part (duration 6) was a joke. I couldn't help myself. I should have let that rip April 1. Timing being everything.

so they think they have the code contained now? I am a little skeptical about anything being contained right now. I am picturing this code as a virus rapidly getting into every card set, but we wont know anything for 14 days.

Its kind of a big deal because it affects new teams going forward. I hope they really do have it contained. Thanks for sharing that info.

Wow, what a hilarious joke. It led to me wasting 10 minutes trying to figure out the logic behind creating a new R6 rating that would justify a reduction in card pricing.

Here's a cut and paste from the Strat email.

Thanks for your message. On Sunday night, March 8, we implemented new code to support the set of changes that constitute Bullpen v3, which is only supposed to apply to the new 2019 season at this time. Unfortunately, one line of code pertaining to new additional rest days for overworked relievers managed to slip past the boundaries of 2019, and the result was that it was in play for a fair number of leagues in other player sets, including ATG 8, for Sunday night's games only. To be clear, this was not intended, it has been patched, and it will not affect other player sets (besides 2019) going forward. We're sorry that this occurred.

Sincerely, Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365 http://365.strat-o-matic.com

Yop, Bruce Sutter made his usual show, 3.1 innings after throwing 76 pitches the game before.

We're back to the super-exploited arms (super-expletive, some would say!!)

It's almost mind numbing how bad they are at programming
