Brian Anderson wins 30 games

PostWed Jun 03, 2020 1:27 am

One of the starting pitchers on my $80 million ATG8 team has had one of the most absurd, unbelievable (pick an adjective) seasons you'll EVER see. For a salary of just over 3 million:

30 wins , 5 losses , 40 starts
289 IP, 276 H, 101 R, 51 BB, 2.96 ERA, 1.13 WHIP
He's also allowed 28 home runs.

The most surprising thing to me he had 35 decisions in 40 starts, I didn't try to let him go deep in the games, slow hook is all, and with no DH he was liable to be pinch hit for in a close game. All in all, absolutely amazing outlier season from an unexpected source.

He gave up 7 runs in his previous start and failed to get a decision, but in his final starting bid, he notched win #30.

Congratulations to a surprising 30-game winner, Brian Anderson!

way to go. amazing hitters kicked his ass roll wise. i've tried that bum numerous times in Petco, Gtiffiths, forbes, etc. and he;s never caught the magic. i think he may have 30 total wins though! :D

He was 8-4 after 50 games. The rest of season, he was 22-1.

Un - freaking - believable.
