Love me some Duffy Lewis. He's always on my list of fall back add/drop replacements. Because I know he'll show up and play for me.

I was cleaning out the garage last week and found the group photo from the vegas event Bobby hosted. I need to get it scanned and posted here.

Anybody remember "normalization"?
Babe Ruth would hit 54 home runs in the first 100 games and end the season with 58.

Needless to say, your 6 game lead in the division would evaporate during Babe's slump.

Yup.
Strat denied HR normalization existed for about 2 years before Treyomo used his own money to fund an entire league, track the numbers and prove it was happening.

I have Barnstormers records going back to 2006 and believe it or not, a lot of people who still play were in the 2006 tour. (54 players !)

Nostalgia flash - names like Major Deegan, Munich Man, Nevdully, Harry Lime, PJ Axellson, PJMB, mforfun, Rob55, Odyssey Tiger, Penngray…..

You left out JKolak, JaserD, and Mr Moonface. :D

In the early TSN days, most of us all started playing just regular SOM. ATG came out later.

I organized the first every LIVE IN PERSON draft at the TSN offices back in 2002. The original "BERNIE" was in the league.

guys actually few in from various parts of the country for the draft.

..and we did a few more LIVE IN PERSON drafts after that.

TSN took off the salary caps too just for us.

We all went out to dinner afterward.

penngray, Jeep Driver, T.Richardson, Daniel to name a few. Lot's of fun.

Who remembers the famous "HOAX" of 2003/4 where one of the board members alleged they were a teenage girl sick in the hospital and playing Strat with all of us. This went on for a VERY VERY long time and eventually we all surmised it was a hoax.

I totally forget her name now but it was a total shock at the end. She (or probably he) had us all fooled.

I was at the 2nd or 3rd one of those as a replacement for JeepDriver.

Also, remember the sick little girl who played strat. What happened to all the drama? Things used to be so much more interesting around here. :D
