Alternate Lineups

PostThu Sep 17, 2020 4:56 pm

Has any one heard of a suggestion for a new set of alternate lineups, not the reverse LH and RH starters?
For example, home and away is the easiest.
More complicated and along the lines of the current starting pitcher dependent changes could be something that would change to an alternate based on the HR rating of the park for that series.
Alt1 lineup goes in when LH-HR rating is at or above 10 and RH-HR rating is at or above 15.
That would give slugger/smallball or one hitting side heavy teams an option to change lineups.
If Hilltop is home, the lefty hitters in your lineup may move up a few spots if visiting on of the LH favoring Sportsmen parks.
If this hasn't been beaten to death without me knowing, I'll send Strat customer service an email.
If I do that, anyone else that thinks this idea is a few levels above Suckfest can express that opinion to Strat, and maybe before I die it will be implemented.
Thanks for listening.

Have thought the same thing regarding home/away but have never made an input. But the way it is constructed, you'd have to select a switch ahead of time, ie, use either H/A or L/R business rules. Otherwise, HAL would get confused. So the ultimate control would be a per game vs. lineup enhancement as you can for starting pitchers.
