Glory Days league - league full

“I had a friend was a big baseball player
Back in high school
He could throw that speedball by you
Make you look like a fool boy
Saw him the other night at this roadside bar
I was walking in, he was walking out
We went back inside sat down had a few drinks
But all he kept talking about was…”

Glory Days
Strat-O-Matic League
(1980-present)

This league gives us a chance to play with the best players we’ve watched as adult baseball fans.

League set-up: 24 teams with DH. $100m roster cap with unlimited, extra cash for transactions. To pull this off, create your team with the “ATG 9, 1980-” custom sub-set in the ATG9 section. It should be the first sub-set listed. Then choose “$999,000,000” salary cap. Now, here’s the most important rule - we need good sportsmanship from all managers. There are two requirements: (1) when you enter your team, your draft list must have at least $899,000,000 “cash left”, and (2) at all times during the pre-season and season, your “Roster value” must be $100,000,000 or less.

I’ve named the league “Glory Days” after the 1984 song by Bruce Springsteen. The Boss has been rockin’ this whole time, from the 1980’s to present. If possible, name your team after a pop culture figure or group ideally from the 1980’s thru present. Could be a band, a baseball player, an actor, a TV show, etc.
