QUESTION: Is there a commissioner for this league?

Clarifying question about Nel, are we limiting this choice to the ones that are Nel for the year? what about players like Chino Smith (1927), does he fall in the 1920-1936 bracket, or does he fall into Nel?

THE RULES:

Several of us have played this before, but I am happy to act as the Commish to get this going.

The league will be $150 million DH - please don't join unless you plan on proactively partipating in an ILC draft for approx. 3 days, i.e. please plan on checking in every hour or so during the day to help keep the draft moving along.

The first SIX (6) rounds will be conducted in the ILC (Individual League Chat) (Hopefully two to three days max)

Then we will load our teams and autodraft the remainder of rosters.

Draft order will be determined by a randomizer.

Rounds 1 thru 6 will be conducted in serpentine order.

Each team will draft 5 hitters in rounds 1 thru 5 and then their ACE SP in round 6 (finally last pick gets an advantage in a league)

You MUST draft ONE and only one hitter from each of the following 5 eras:
1873-1919
1920-1936
1937-1952 + NEL
1953-1989
1990-Present

No restrictions as to which round you must select your era hitter in, as long as you ONLY select ONE hitter from each era during each of the first 5 rounds.

The ACE SP taken by each team in round 6 may be from ANY era.

These SIX players may NOT be dropped and/or traded at any time.

Once we are finished we will load the teams into a private league and autodraft the remaining players....you may select ANY stadium during the autodraft.

I will ask for a randomizer to set things up once my work day eases.

And we will move over the ILC with the draft selection order set after the randomizer is done.
