Which is better?

Without considering offense at all which would be better to use in LF? One would DH and one would play in the field. One other thing to consider is that player A is an injury 2 and player B is an injury 1 but still a 15 game injury risk. Your choice of an injury backup from your roster could be more limited for a LF vs any hitter as a DH. Or maybe that is not a big enough factor to consider? These players ae NOT from the ATG game so don't worry about both players being bad defensive options.

player A = 3(+1)e2

or

player B = 3(0)e5

In a normal league, I'd go with the fewer errors.
If it was a singles only park and you were playing a team with lots of speed, I'd be tempted to switch to the better arm.
