I couldn't agree more! Ever since ATG9, the pool of usable bench players is rather poor.


It is too bad we can't vote in cheap cards to have more usable backups. Problem is we don't know what their prices will be.

We have cards from 1965, 1966 & 1970. But his best years were 1964 & 1969. And they were really good years based on the numbers.


People seem to forget that a significant number of cards in ATG are there because they played for a 'great team' that is part of the set. Dick Hall played for the 1966 and 1970 Orioles, that's why those cards are there.

His 1964 card serves up 5 BP homers vs righties...
