Very rare indeed. Giancarlo Stanton smashed 6 for me in a game once. I've never had a 4 HR game in all the years I've been playing! Congrats to Dick "don't call me Ritchie" Allen!

Giancarlo Stanton rocketed 6 homeruns and Julio Teheran went the distance as the St. James Infirmary man-handled the Caz Life - the final score was 17 to 2.

It seemed that Caz pitching was serving up softballs for Stanton to hit. He launched a rocket shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun in the 1st inning, cracked a solo homerun in the 3rd inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 4th inning, smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 6th inning, blasted a two-run home run in the 7th inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' (his 33rd of the season) in the 8th inning. St. James provided plenty of action in the 1st inning with 4 runs on 4 hits, the 7th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning when they had 4 runs on 4 hits. St. James dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.

The victory was credited to Teheran(3-3) who went the distance, allowing 2 runs. The losing pitcher was Shelby Miller(7-4). He was touched for 4 homeruns in his 4 innings of work.

'I had good swings today,' Stanton said, 'Everything felt right'.
