This is a little off topic from the beginning of the thread but it seems like the thing kind of went in a different direction anyway. One of my thoughts and maybe this is been suggested and shot down is the following: I do not understand why if one creates a league that the commissioner could not have much broader powers to alter some of the in game settings which will include Bullpen management but also roster rules. In other words the internal logic wouldn’t change but if I wanted to have a league which allowed for multiple bullpen settings and that was understood by everyone going in then I could set it up that way. If I wanted to eliminate bullpen settings all together we could do that as well. Even roster sizes and requirements. Why not allow people to create leagues that don’t require nine pictures— go back to eight like it used to be. if I want to require 11, I could do that too. Maybe I want to prohibit 3 day rests...etc. It would really open up the game in my opinion.

It can’t be that difficult to give the commissioners much broader powers. We could then have multiple leagues with multiple settings going. People could pick the leagues they like and if it turns out that the super reliever isn’t a problem leagues designed like nomadbrads above then we have our answer.

This might be a silly question, but do the majority of the ‘dice rolls’ in SOM 365 land on the hitter’s card? I ask because I just finished my 49th season and in 37 of those, my pitchers have had negative dice rolls. By way of comparison, 26 of my 49 teams have had positive rolls on my hitters’ card, which is close to the norm

Even more bizarre is my last 8 teams (and 16 of the last 20) have had negative dice rolls on my pitchers.

I realize we’re not going to see 50/50 rolls on a consistent basis, but when 76% of my teams have negative rolls on the pitchers, that’s seems more than a little bizarre

Do you ever set any pitchers to F1, etc? That makes a difference, apparently. (If I understand correctly, when a pitcher is fatigued, some results will come from the batter card when they would have been on the pitcher card.)

Yes, recently I've been more aggressive in setting a couple pitchers to F1, F0. So that would make sense

Thanks for the reply

The above statement is correct.

Wouldn't this problem larger be solved if there were two divisions of six teams. Or why have divisions at all? Seriously, just have 12 team leagues with the top four teams make the playoffs. It's not like these are division rivals.

And it's just unbalanced and stupid when the best 3 or even 4 teams can wind up in the same division.

AT A MINIMUM THEY SHOULD DO 2- 6 TEAM DIVISIONS , IT WAS FIX A LOT OF THE SILLINESS. It's not brain surgery.
