He really was tough. I played with him in a bunch of leagues years ago and was surprised when he welcomed me back to the game in my brief return a couple of years ago. I wasn't expecting him, of all people, to remember me. We had only spoken a little and some people actually thought him and I were the same person on the forums. I remember in my first team back I had beaten him in my division and was quite pleased, only to have him eliminate me in the playoffs. That was the last time we played.

depends on the parks and the draft results, no?

seems unlikely there is a single answer - if I had an all RH team and all the parks other than mine were Dunn or Yankee '71, I might try to find a lefty or two.

For all the bluster, Bruce was at heart a great guy who would ALWAYS help someone if they asked. I played way back when (ATG 1-3 maybe) under the moniker "Coach Rich" and was always surprised (and laughed) when he still called me that 10 years later.

But, he was the ultimate competitor and I still miss him to this day.
