It is a good customer service gesture to provide free credits for owners with active teams, much appreciated.
Especiall if it is true that the problem was with their domain provider, and not with the STRAT App,
The 10% discount is nice, but not a significant incentive, I may be wrong, but if they offered like a 40% discount for a 3 day period, I bet owners would jump at that and STRAT might end up actually making more dinero based on volume sales.
In terms of increasing incentive for owners to buy teams (and thereby significantly improving customer service) I would recommend the following:
1) Allow commissioners more control and options in creating leagues
2) Fix the bullpen programming---it is one of the main focuses of frustration. The current programming has forced owners to do everything possible to minimize using the bullpen--hence the 4 Stud F0/cheap bullpen scenario.
3) Per #2 above, when STRAT attempted to address the Super Reliever scenario, they both changed the bullpen settings and significantly increased the salaries of all the better relievers---the result being that most of those relievers rarely get used except in the very high salary leagues. This can be fixed by reducing the reliever salaries so these players actually get used, and give the owners better bullpen setting options.
4) There are cards missing information that have been repeatedly flagged by owners---why not fix these?
5) Allow owners to fully control their lineups when injuries occur, and give owners full control of pinch-hitting settings.
Those would go a long way to increasing purchasing incentives, and would be a big spike in customer satisfaction.
