Best way to optimize starting pitching

PostTue Dec 06, 2022 7:03 pm

What settings does everyone use to maximize usage of the starting pitchers? I can't seem to get the setting right! Trying to avoid having my slanted LH or RH coming in for too long.

I'm certainly no expert but if I go with high priced SPs and low priced slanted RPs then I usually put my starters on don't relieve before F0 and slow hook, and the slanted relievers I put avoid the opposite hand and quick hook. Usually seems to work.

I put a little less money into my fourth starter because they play one less game during the regular season and one less during the playoffs.

all SP8/9 F6/F7 slow hook. they will pitch many innings but in close games HAL will pinch hit and the more platoon oriented the lineups u r facing HAL will go to your 9r/9l's etc. on specialist setting.

also on the F settings, it's been my experience that once your SP8/9 starts to fatigue, HAL will from F9, F7, then 1 or 0. so when they r starting to fatigue they r done anyway.
