How is it fair to play the semi in tourney , only to have played 15 home games thru first 45? You fall so far behind when you finally get to home game it won't matter. Another team in my semi is 9 home games and 36 road games.
I am in the same boat. 15 at home and 30 on the road so far. Just keep your head down and keep chugging. When you get all those home games later you get to enjoy climbing up those standings. Everyone plays 81 at home and 81 on the road.
the only way it wouldn't be fair is if you played like 60 at home by year's end my friend
It doesn't matter. I would offer the opposite: How is it fair that I have to play 30 of my last 45 games away in the middle of a pennant race when I can't make any moves?
Another way to look at it is if you play all those away games to start, you pick up a few players that play well in opposing parks and swap them out later for players made for your home park, if you don't mind taking the salary cap hit.
Surprising to see "Barnstormers" attached to this. We don't have anything to do with the randomness at which you are put into the league. Every team created in every league created will have the same "schedules". So if you wind up in the "Xxx" division in the "xxx" spot, you get that schedule. Now in the finals, we do like to do a random run so that we can let them know who their division mates will be so it can help in the live draft. But this is the only time we let people know the division they will be in. But even that will be randomized beforehand.
