Big Fred,

Message boards are definitely acting wonky. I sent you a PM, let me know if you got it.

You've got a good run differential so far, and the fact you picked a ballpark with homers 10 will help. Some try to double down with the pitcher parks, but actually contrary-wise, some of the best fielders need those ballpark HRs to make a difference. Kudos.

So far so good: https://365.strat-o-matic.com/league/470730

.600 record although currently In second place in my division, but Best R/D in league & best pythag record in the league.

3 errors through 48 games, no PB, no WP, no Balks, no throwing errors, only 7 SB's allowed vs 7 caught stealing.

Also currently leading the league in ERA, WHIP & Double Plays turned.

Yep, you might have to accept a few 1's like I did to get enough options.

Apparently "perfection" is overrated. My team now sits at 31-32 after a 1-14 stretch. Ouch.

I made a couple of moves, because the team was struggling despite having the 3rd best R/D in the league. Playing something like 12 games below their Pythag Record.

Shouldn't change the dynamic too much, but hopefully provide a bit of a bump.

Went 36-18 down the stretch after making those moves and made it to the Wildcard by 1 game. Also ended up with the 2nd best Run Differential in the league.

So I think the test was positive, but the problem is there simply aren't enough pitchers that are truly "Perfect" pitchers to make it viable.

I will likely try it again, but loosen up the parameters on the pitchers to give myself more options.
