STRAT note fix...

So wanted to share some good news....

It appears that STRAT has been able to improve their recent change to the in league messaging system where messages now link the team name to the owners message...

so now we can link to the team name quicker to respond to trade offers (like we used to).

Glad they fixed that for the better...

that's what I was gonna say....I've never made an offer, never received an offer, and never seen a trade happen in any of my (admittedly short list, 15-20) leagues....

I've seen two trades in leagues I played in - one during Frenzy and one during the season. In fact, I was a trading partner in both deals.

I can remember the particulars of only the in-season trade: I traded $.50M LHRP Dan Plesac for $.66M LHRP Bob Shirley, just before the late-season deadline where rosters are frozen. At the time, there was a compelling reason why I made the deal. But I have forgotten it.

The reasons I think teams make hardly any trades are: a) it's too restrictive (bc of roster reqs and salary issues) and b) it's way easier to dip into the vast free agent pool and update your roster.

The average high cap league will feature multiple preseason trades. Hardly ever at lower caps.

When you have theme leagues with restrictive rosters you end up with some trades almost never in auto leauges
