The owner of the site is working on a solution. If you’d like to help now you could send a message to Strat suggesting they provide the servers to host the site.

Got this reply from SOM:

"We've gotten a lot of feedback on this of late.
We do recognize that this has been a longtime useful tool for the community, and is something we would like to retain the availability of its functionality for our userbase.

It's too preemptive to make any hard promises here, so without jumping the gun...
We might be able to look into how feasible it would be to implement some of its functionality into the main site."

For those who have the time and patience, the DIY function on the Dope site still works, and can be used to generate the results that the card reader used to give us.

I’ve got 2 credits left and my thinking is that if Diamond Dope isn’t operational by the time these last credits are used that I’ll likely hang it up.

Please, Strat, do something to keep this invaluable resource available to us.

I too am in a bit of a panic with Diamond Dope down. Luckily, the recurring league I’m in with a new season on tap were using the same ballparks, so my Diamond Dope-fueled spreadsheet is already built. Otherwise … not sure I’d be sleeping at night! I wonder though as I read LeGrande Orange and other’s statements about hanging it up … “are they less addicted than me?” Me saying I’d give up Strat is about the same as a crystal meth addict saying they’re giving up meth!


Very happy to see that Strat is involved in finding a solution. If crowd funding is part of a solution, this addict is in. And I’m so happy to learn Adrian’s name as the creator of DD. Huge thank you!

Do we have an idea how much it would cost to host the old site for a year?

I mean, we have 20+ people here saying they'd chip in.

I'd love to see the key elements of Diamond Dope available on the main Strat site. Hopefully all of the new ATG cards would be added automatically, rather than the community keying the data.

If Strat has a new development team in place for 365, then it seems like this should be the first project for them to tackle.

Not to mention it is now $25 for a team......
