Lineups

Is there any way to stop HAL from changing batting order in my lineups (where there are no injuries)? Eg. Arky Vaughan leading off (rather than batting 4th as I assigned) is just stupid. Why?

That never happens to me. I’ve never seen Hal change starting lineups when there are no injuries. Can you describe the circumstances?

Agreed. Never seen it happen except when there is an injury. If you have documentation, you should forward it to Strat for an explanation.

This is probably something simple, like maybe one of your alternate lineups is incomplete or something.

newbie here, but I add one thing

if any part of my lineup is inaccurate, HAL seemingly has fair game to do as pleases....of course, ideally following any settings Ive made, but its better to avoid that possibility

for example, if you have a platoon, and one guy used be injured, and during his injury u might have adjusted the lineup slightly, either with platoon mate or other, if anything is not exactly as you wished, it seems then HAL will work his "magic"

I agree with previous comments that if nothing was wrong, its likely an anomaly that should be reported

However, I often see something wrong, think its dirty pool or HAL trickery, and then realize there was a method to the madness...AKA my fault lol

check everything, then write SOM help if not finding any reason

good luck, I hate anomalies : - O

There are only two conditions where I have seen HAL adjust the set lineups - injuries and if any position is left blank (possibly due to dropping a player and not replacing him in the lineup).

Or you didn’t realize you had alternative lineups set up.

If there is an injury to someone batting cleanup, HAL seems to like to rearrange the lineup so the batter with the most real-life home runs to bat fourth.
I've seen this with Frankie Crosetti moving up from ninth to bat ahead of Ichiro.

I just love it when Devon White gets moved from the 9 spot to 3 with his .190 BA.
