I'm not an ATG regular but I occasionally jump into leagues that feature players from the early 20th century. Here's a league idea that I hope grabs some interest...
"Let Them All Play" - Uses a custom player set by the same name that includes players from 1872-1946 and Negro Leaguers. We'll start with an eleven-round draft here on the boards. Teams draft five MLB players, five Negro Leaguers, and a stadium, then auto-draft the rest of the roster. Stadiums are limited to those in use during the aforementioned years.
The details:
- 12-team league
- Randomized serpentine draft. Pick your stadium at any point in the draft.
- $80M/No DH/Standard Waivers
- 25-player rosters at all times and never less than 10 Negro Leaguers
If you have questions or want a copy of the player/stadium spreadsheet, email me at paul.e.wootten@gmail.com. Thanks!
