The ICONS!!!

Featuring Hal----> :)
Also Bernie----> :P

ANNDDD Evil Management---> :twisted:

"Hey Hal, did you know the government is shutdown and certain federal regulatory agencies are no longer functioning"... :|
"Ya Bernie! Does that mean I don't have to pay taxes during this time since there was no government around to spend it?" :P
"I dunno Hal. Since the FCC is shutdown too, we can swear all we want on the airways without penalty!" :P
"Get back to work you TWO!!!! I have agendas to accomplish. This is a great time for SOM!!!" :twisted:
"Like HOW? People are out of work!!" :x
"There are NO regulations! No truth in advertising, the EPA hit the streets, The IRS is suspending my audits, OSHA is not inspecting for workplace safety, even the Department of Homeland Security will no longer operate its E-Verify program, which means that businesses will not be able to check on the legal immigration status of prospective employees during the shutdown. HIRE those ILLEGALS and pay them $1.50 an HOUR while you CAN!!! :twisted:
"Aren't you taking advantage of the budget deadlock instead of trying to improve customer relations?" :x
"Our Complaint Department was shutdown too! If I don't know about complaints, how can I act on them!!! It's a matter of design. Go out and dump that toxic waste down the sewers we've been storing and BUY MORE CHEAP ASBESTOS!" :twisted:

I suggest we have an "AFFORDABLE STRAT-O-MATIC ACT" How it would work is: Those more talented and successful players (you know who you are) who have amassed a large amount of credits through their hard work and skill as managers would give us less fortunate (and less hard working) managers credits so we to can play online Strat without having to pay for it. Why should those of us who see this a casual diversion be punished because we don't do too much research when assembling our teams. Additionally those who refuse to contribute credits would be fined a like amount and the money would go back into Strat-O-Matic's coffers. Just a thought.

Worse than the Government Shutdown is the fact that our cable carrier, CableOne, is in a snit with Turner Broadcasting, and Turner Broadcasting pulled their signal for TNT, CNN, etc, and TBS! Right as the MLB Postseason starts. HELP!!

That's not even possible- Fox news is more reality show than news program-
actually most American news stations aren't particularly good at giving us 'news'- although their sports coverage is top notch.

Also Bernie---> :P

ANNDDD Evil Management---> :twisted:

"Hey Bernie, the government shutdown has been on for over a week now and nobody is budging from the budget". :P
"Well Hal, I think it's all about Obamacare, Republicans say it would ruin America". :|
"You mean employers may be required to carry Obamacare? How would it ruin America? Aren't we based on a free market ecomomy where supply and demand dictate prices, goods, and manufacturing with the public free to chose what products or services they purchase?" :)
"I guess so Hal. That eliminates healthy competition between businesses and restrict the choices the public would otherwise be free to make. After all, don't we already have government funded Medicare, Medicade, VA hospitals, COBRA, and the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act ? :)
"You GOLDBRICKERS!!! Standing around again, HUH!!! :twisted:
"Hal and I were discussing the current issues involving the economy and employee health care". :)
"I have no time for employee's benefits! SOM isn't a hospital. :twisted:
"But if the government doesn't pass a budget, America will default, and thousands of workers are still laid off!" :x
"How many times have I told you not to mix apples and oranges!!! Back to work you two fruits!!!! Get me more customers!!!! :twisted:
