never had heard of the personlized card feature. so i don't know if you design the whole card or strat just sends you a card with your name on it?

I'm not sure how the card is made up either. I do recall some guy blogging about the card that he got. He said it fit him well because it had stats similar to George Brett. And then he got out his dice to see how he would do against Greg Maddux and he was bragging because he had 3 hits and a walk or 4 hits off of Maddux. It was really weird.

It is a real strat card with all the usual columns and ratings. You tell strat what your hitting or pitching stats are. And the card is computer generated similar to how they might generate a season full of cards for some past year. So you could submit that you were a .454 hitter with a HR every 5th AB with a fielding rating of 1 in CF and a -6 arm and like magic you get a card that looks like it would if a real MLB player put up those numbers during a season.

Have never understood why someone would pay money for a bogus card like that but then as I have aged I have seen many things from the strat realm I did not understand. If it makes money for strat and makes someone out there happy who am I to say it is wrong?

Who knows, in ATG14 after we have cards from Cuba, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the little league world series in the set we might even be allowed to draft our personalized card in to online strat.

i've always wanted to try a card like this, on the 6-7-8 rolls had all hrs, the 2-12 rolls all walks and the rest all outs with the 3/11 being DP's, the 4/10 being long Flyouts and the 5/9 roll being strikeouts.

I wanted a pitcher's card with nothing but 'lo max plus injury' for about 20 games. Heck with the strikeouts! By the 5th inning, they have to forfeit. Then they have to go free agency to replace players and by the end of the season out of a 140M league, they have less than 10M. Even the bulletproof players go down! It's just one of those economics and baseball theories working together.
