First time ever got through to 365 Support

PostMon Nov 26, 2018 6:50 pm

and got a response.

Resolved the issue with my BS pick not being added.

Also John Garcia graciously allowed me to change my Jose Ramirez pick to the 2017 Aaron Judge in light of all the recent additions of guys who can play both at 2nd and 3rd base with some facility.

That card will be added with the next set of additions, assuming that Rosie somehow resurfaces and there is a next set of additions.

As silly as it is, adding the ability to mute managers and adding some players in a one week span is actually an encouraging sign to me. If they were just going to let this die, why bother doing anything, particularly the muting managers part.

Just saying. Maybe there's a glimmer of hope ... Hell, they actually answered Petrosian for crying out loud.

John Garcia is still alive and working at SOM? Wow, that's a revelation. Wonder what his excuse is for not posting anything.

I've never had a problem getting a response from SOM support. After seeing this topic, I went back and counted the number of times I've contacted SOM support. Over the last 2 and one half years, I contacted SOM support 87 times, on a variety of topics, including, but not limited to, various league matters, tanking managers, managers failing to comply with theme league rules, formatting of theme leagues, credits, new player cards, missing cap money, team name changes, changing ballparks, changing league start dates, rule clarifications, etc., etc. The responses from John Garcia, the SOM employee who responds to support inquiries, have always been prompt, courteous, cordial and professional. He has NEVER failed to respond and always responds in a timely fashion.

Most of my contacts with John have regarded special formatting of an ongoing franchise theme league which is entering its 12th and final season, which requires special formatting of the live draft and team divisions from SOM at the start of each season. The league is very unique among theme leagues and could never have been done without John's assistance.

As the face of the company for the online ATG game, John has been the whipping boy of the online ATG community for SOM's customer service issues. While people are often quick to complain about customer service failures, good work, which is expected, is rarely recognized or praised in this forum.

Based on my experience with John, I've always seen him as a beacon of hope in a company beset with customer service issues. For me, John has been part of the solution, not part of the problem.

I find it interesting that you have had such success...I on the other hand have not even come close to your requests but on several key issues (league directories....Garcia Whereabouts and new player additions...no response) as a matter of fact if you read my "interesting Note...on the forum you will see there is no response} ... I personally think if he could do half the job Bernie Hou did we would have a better product...but hey good for you that you have such great success.

Ok, I am still waiting for a response from SOM, but maybe one of you experts can explain why the fatigue level didn't revert to F9 when Blevins came in game 154 (see below).
He last pitched game 150 and was F9. When he pitched the following game 155 he was F9.

Game 155 CON relief 0 0 0 3.0 1 0 0 0 2
Game 154 CON relief 0 1 0 0.0 0 1 1 1 0
Game 150 ARI relief 0 0 0 0.2 0 0 0 0

Game 154

I will say that I can not think of a single time off the top of my head that 365 support has not answered my question or addressed my request. Then again it might only be 20-30 times ever. But I will give them props for the fact that they have always taken care of me. (even though I know HAL hates me)

Apparently, there is an "in" group and an "out" group for Johnny Boy Garcia. I can't remember the last time I cared enough to try to contact him. But a tip of the hat to those who get responses.
