Having played Dodgers42's MLB leagues for a long long time I thought of a way to put that theme on steroids. Here it goes!
RULES:
1 – Each owner is assigned a GROUP of franchises. Your franchises will be RANDOMLY picked once I have 24 names on a list.
2 – A 24 team league is made up of 4 divisions of 6 teams. Each Division will SHARE the franchises in the below list.
….so the 6 teams that get the EAST all build their teams from those franchises listed.
…..now it gets harder….
3 – This is NOT a carded league. No sir, you need to do some homework for this one. If a player played 1 game in his lifetime for a franchise, he’s eligible regardless if he has a card or not.
Example: Greg Maddux played for both the Padres and Dodgers but he only has Cubs and Braves cards….he’s still eligible for the WEST.
4 – NEL players are available to all. They can be part of your draft card.
5 - $175Mil Auto draft WITH DH (This is NOT too high, this is actually low for a 24 team league but I wanted to make sure no one gets killed in the autodraft.)
6 – Stadiums must be from 1 of your selected franchises
7 – Trades are allowed ONLY if it’s between players with whom they played for both franchises. If you get an ineligible player in the auto draft, you can NOT trade him. He must be dumped in waivers.
8 – try and use a Legitimate MLB team name from the list. No made up teams. If we get dupes, I trust one of you will swap to another.
9 – you may use ANY card you want so long as your player played for your franchise at some point in his career.
