Very sad news.
I met him in Las Vegas at one of Bobby's gatherings.
And we were in many live draft Blatz leagues together.
You will be missed.
Condolences to you Mike.

Mike:

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Though we tend to exist here as a mostly faceless, nameless bunch,
that does not lessen the caring and concern we feel for each other as "real" people.
Be well in this difficult time.

Mort was truly one of the Greatest people I have had the pleasure to play this game with. Beyond that he was a real man and a true friend. I loved that dude! He was a very important person to so many people, just a huge loss. He was kind and generous to me about many off game things I confided in him, and his advice was always caring and considerate and spot on. He was one of those guys I have been looking forward to seeing a ball game with, I am profoundly sad that, unfortunately, will have to wait. All I can say to my Gentlemen Bruthas, is I'm gonna live today, and I'm gonna raise a giant Blatz to my departed friend tonight! He's in the front row now I'm sure. My soul hurts from this news. A person I will always remember, and whose friendship I will always cherish. Godspeed, and condolences to The Bros. and all your famiy. I bet having an uncle like him, and a brother like him was a pretty good deal. I am sorry for your loss. I am feeling it as well. Love to all my SOM Bruthas.

I met him at the Las Vegas gathering too. Sad to see a long-time ATG vet leave the group, but much moreso when they leave this way. Condolences to Moriarity's family.

John's Strat trip to Vegas was one of his all-time favorite vacations, and the on-line gang here ranked among his favorite people.

His visitation is tomorrow afternoon. The funeral home website is: http://www.walkerfuneralgillette.com

Thank you all for your kind words.
